With capability in location, the company was contracted to reclaim 200,000t of stranded and quarantined fine magnetite material at Cape Preston Port Companies (CPPC) port facility.

The scope of work included the tailoring of a 100t fleet and mobile rehandling units to accommodate the tight infrastructure and heavy material to reclaim onto the ports conveying circuit. Our scope was further challenged by tight timeframes and seasonal outcomes.

We utilised 992 Loaders, modified track feeder and stacker units, whilst supported by service and water vehicles.

The project was completed on time, without incident and within budget.
