Spillage Control and Bulk handling

We recently renewed this long term engagement for a further 3 years and are engaged to provide spillage control and reclamation services at Rio Tinto’s Parker Point, East Intercourse Island and Cape Lambert Terminals.
Key to this renewal was the ongoing evolution of the relationship with Rio Tinto resulting in the traditional fixed scope agreement expanding to an Umbrella supply agreement for the Pilbara region. We worked collaboratively with the client to build a service model that maximised use of resources across multiple business areas underpinned by our willingness to invest in a flexible on demand/just in time structure.

Similarly works under this engagement have expanded significantly over time to include provision of a suite of services including screening or iron ore, mobile equipment maintenance, dust suppression, site civil works including carpark construction, haul ramp construction, stacker runway upgrades.

Safety performance on the project continues to be led by a proactive culture evidenced by a current AIFR of 0, and a
recent top 5 finalist of the Global CEO safety award.

Rehandling Services

The company has multi-year contracts to undertake bulk haulage, materials handling and ore screening activities at Rio Tinto’s Cape Lambert, Ell and Parker Point port facilities. Ore bulking is done primarily with 100t dump trucks and loaders, optimised for ready relocation up and down the coast.
Similarly we maintain a fleet of modular refeed stations, track mounted screens, tracked feeders, tracked stackers and purpose built over belt hoppers to meet our clients diverse requirements.

Equipment utilised in support of this project include 992 Loaders, 777 Rigid Haul Trucks, 980 to 950 Loaders, 6×4 Rigid Tippers, 3-5 excavators, Skid Steers, 12H Graders, 930 Tool Carriers, Numerous Water and Service Vehicles.
