IMC constructed a TSF upstream raise utilising conditioned clay borrow material to lift the perimeter embankments.
Work included foundation preparation, load and haul, place and compact clay, raise decant access way with rock, raise decant structure and load haul and place rock material on outer embankment.
Equipment utilised included 637 scrapers, D8T dozer, 16H grader, articulated dump trucks and water carts, 18T padfoot rollers and 30t excavators
The project was completed on time, incident free and on budget.
