IMC PKKPE JV executed the stage 2 rehabilitation of the Brockman 4 DP1 Waste Dump. The project included 516,000m3 of reshaping, 13,000m3 of rock armouring, placement of 62,000m3 of topsoil and ripping and seeding. The works also included construction of 1,600m of toe bunds, 2,200m of crest segregation bunds and 5,700m of backslope berms.
Rehabilitation of Waste Dumps DP 1 Stage 3, DP 4 Stage 3 and DP 8 Stage 1 involves the rehabilitation work on 3 different waste dumps of Brockman 4. Total cut and fill over the Waste dumps are 624,000m3 cut and 538,000m3. Total area that will need rip and drone seeded 80Ha. Separation bunds to be constructed 14,463m in length.
