The construction of earthworks for 33kv distribution network at Eliwana and Flying Fish is part of the Fortescue’s Decarbonisation Site Infrastructure Project. It involves building power pole pads, service corridors and access tracks across seven separable portions at Fortescue’s Eliwana and Flying Fish mine sites.
Each separable portion includes clearing and topsoil stripping, construction of 20m x 20m pads, construction of access tracks including gravel sheeting, and construction of windrows for Heritage Restriction Zones.
