The primary scope of works encompasses the construction of a starter embankment which includes; clearing approx. 115 Ha of grub, 172k m3 of topsoil stripping & 420k m3 of conditioned material. Works also include the construction of 2 x decant causeways with various turnaround bays, installation of Vibrating Wire Peizometers, construction of seepage interception trenches, upstream and downstream toe drains, underdrainage collection sumps and various filtration systems to accommodate the design completed by Golders.
