The company was contracted for a term of three years via a Master Services Agreement, to provide Mine Site civil construction services to the full Roy Hill mine and rail projects. This included exploration, dewatering, mining, processing, rail, engineering and capital project teams.
Our work Scopes included road maintenance and repair, asphalt and chip seal upgrades and repairs, surface water management and culvert installation, rail formation repairs, production of construction materials and bulk material handling services. Our engagement was characterised by multiple concurrent work fronts and clients utilising a range of commercial engagements from Schedules of Rates to lump sum contracting.
The equipment utilised varied depending on the included 30t and 20t excavators, D9 and D9 dozers, 740 articualted dump trucks, 980 FELS, 16H and 140M graders, 6 and 8 wheel watercarts, rollers, bobcats, IT62H IT, water and service trucks.
