MINING SERVICES

Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) has partnered with Covalent Lithium to deliver the mining services contract at their Mount Holland Lithium Operation in Western Australia, one of the region’s most significant hard‑rock lithium developments. Commencing in February 2026, IMC is delivering a fully integrated suite of open‑pit mining services under an initial five‑year term, supporting the long‑term production objectives of the operation.

IMC’s scope includes drill and blast, load and haul, run‑of‑mine (ROM) management, site civil works, and maintenance of client fleet. Over the life of the contract, IMC will manage the movement of approximately 31 million BCM of material, executed across the open pit, while also incorporating clearing and grubbing, haul road construction and maintenance, waste dump construction and battering, topsoil management and associated rehabilitation activities.

The operation will be underpinned by a high‑capacity mining fleet selected to suit Mount Holland’s geology, haul profiles and production schedule. IMC’s delivery approach emphasises safety, ore hygiene, equipment availability and productivity, supported by real‑time fleet management systems, disciplined planning processes and onsite maintenance capability.

With extensive experience in Western Australian lithium operations, IMC is working in close collaboration with Covalent Lithium to provide a scalable, reliable and data‑driven mining solution. The partnership is designed to ensure consistent ROM feed, protect ore quality and deliver efficient, predictable outcomes throughout the life of the project.
