IMC were awarded the contract for construction of Tailings Storage Facility 3 at the Marvel Loch operations of Minjar Gold. Scope of work included 109ha of clearing and topsoil stripping, under-drainage installation, embankment foundation and construction, decant access-way embankment construction and decant Installation.
Total material movement measured 450,000m3 and was completed utilising 40t trucks fleets and 633 Scrapers.
The job was completed ahead of schedule and without significant incident.
