CIVIL SERVICES
The Telfer Tailings Storage Facility #8 (TSF8) stage 4 project involves the downstream construction of the perimeter and decant accessway embankments and the relocation of the tailing’s delivery pipeline onto the new embankment crest.
The TSF8 stage 4 project is a 5m raise from RL5516 to RL5521 includes
- 1,671,200 cubic metres of waste rock undertaken by 100t fleet
- 551,400 cubic metres of low permeability clayey material undertaken by arctic fleet
- Relocation of 6,430m of tailings delivery pipeline onto completed embankment
The works will be undertaken on double shift, with earthworks self-performed by IMC
