Following on from the projects at the end of 2018 and our demonstrated capacity to complete projects efficiently,IMC were again contracted to undertake a TSF raise for Blackhams Wiluna operations. The scope of work included an upstream raise utilising the existing tailings, raising the perimeter embankments of the tailings facility.
Work includes foundation preparation, load & haul, condition and compact tailings, raise decant access way with rock, raise decant structure and load haul and place rock to outer embankments
During this project the plant in use includes 637 scrapers, D8T dozer, 14M Grader, articulated dump trucks and watercarts, 30T excavators, 18T rollers.
The project was completed on time, incident free and on budget.
