Isaac O’Keefe, our new trainee at IMC NEMMS JV’s Dampier Operations, shared his excitement at being one of the latest graduates of IMC’s RIPA program recently.
RIPA or Resource Industry Pathways Australia, is IMC’s pre-employment program offering participants an understanding of what a career in the resources industry involves.
As a graduate, Isaac has now begun training towards his Certificate III in Civil Operations which will ultimately delivers him Nationally Accredited qualifications in a broad range of plant in a mine site environment, with a local placement that keeps Isaac’s support circle near.
“Working full time in a job I love has given me more freedom financially and socially.
Working here is the starting point of my career, a much needed change in life which has made me much happier.”
