Tipping the scale at over 100t, the Beast is currently at work on the Eastern Goldfields conforming challenging fill material in a TSF embankment.
Its application has eliminated a crush and screen pass previously required to get the zonal fill material performing to spec – do the maths on that!
The Beast itself was borne from a long series of West Australian innovations and was acquired by IMC for its unique attributes.
Based on the bones of an already impressive WA innovation in the 690 Tiger Wheel Dozer, it was reinvented by a South West Earthmoving doyen to reliably power four 11t compactor wheels in heavy clays.
