Work commences at Eliwana

IMC is pleased to announce that we have formed a joint venture with PKKP Enterprises Ltd, a commercial entity of PKKP Aboriginal Corporation, to commence work on a 3-year contract at Eliwana. The Eliwana mine is on PKKP land.

The Eliwana Project, located approximately 96km west-north-west of the township of Tom Price in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, is being developed to provide 30Mtpa of processing capacity to the client’s operations.

The scope of work includes access preparation, drill pad construction, clearing and grubbing, topsoil stripping, earthworks and rehabilitation services.

The longevity of this project reinforces IMC’s capability to deliver outcomes for our clients through joint ventures that realise opportunities for Traditional Owners. This project will focus on working to build aboriginal engagement through employment and procurement opportunities first for the PKKP community and indigenous people in the Pilbara.
